Ranz Damian

Marketing Associate and Teaching Assistant

The grandnephew of Ms. Vella C. Damian and nephew of Ms. Elline Damian. He grew up in a world full of ballet and the arts. From a young age, Ranz had started ballet training under Vella C. Damian but unlike his predecessors his heart was swayed by a different form of art. During his teenage years he discovered his love and passion for theater. He got his first role as an actor when he starred in an adaptation of “Ang Larawan” from Lourdes School of Quezon City. Ranz is currently taking a degree in Bachelor of Arts- Integrated Marketing Communications from Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila.

He further honed his skills when he joined LPU Tanghalang Batingaw during his college years. Here he gained the position of Stage and Properties Management Head and was given place in the Executive Board as the Associate Secretary. Ranz had performed in several major productions of the organization. He was a cast member in the production of “Kalunay” by Nippon Denzo and was cast in the lead role of “Quiapo” by Ma. Faye Aubrey Ocbina during his initial years. He then went on to work backstage where his management skills and innate confidence blossomed. He served as the Head Stage Manager for the production of “BOOWAYA” by Meg Villanueva, Stage Manager in “Bangketa” by Jennylyn Francisco and Production Manager in “Isolate” by Kurtney Luv Quilao. Outside of his organization he served as the Head Stage Manager for ACT MNL in their production of “PULA” and “Pula: Ang Kulay ng Pag-ibig”.

In 2020 he was hired to help run the Vella C. Damian School of Ballet Inc. alongside his family. He now supervises all online classes held and leads the marketing side of the school.
